The BSc Banking & Finance program is an interdisciplinary academic programme with a focus on practical issues. The students can learn the banking sector within the international context of the financial intermediaries. It also provides students the knowledge, understanding and skills required to analyse and evaluate real and complex financial problems of banks and financial institutions, and to design solutions for these problems. The program’s language is English. The Banking & Finance program aims to apply principles, theories and models to critically analyse and explain economic situations encountered in the real world that involve money, financial markets and institutions, financial crisis. The students now the various tools of monetary policy, the role of central banks and the conduct of monetary policy after the completion of the program and understand the role of money, financial instruments and financial markets and effectively use them.

The students gain academic knowledge of banking and finance and a selected number of specific sub-fields, such as risk management, derivative instruments, FinTech, and portfolio management with an experts in finance sector.

The first year of the BSc Banking & Finance program provides students with a broad foundation in basic banking and finance terms for the financial markets and intermediaries. After the second year, students may concentrate on a number of updated finance topics. The last year is comprised with departmental elective courses such as investment banking, Islamic finance, green banking and digital banking.
